GREEN MEDAN

Medan ? ? ? I don’t know exactly what should I write about Medan although I was born in Medan. What I know is Medan is not a bad and dirty city like what most people said. At the first time, I thought that there is nothing special in Medan too, but all of that thought changed since I went to Prapat last time. I saw a lot of awesome views there. The view that was very touching my heart is the sky view at night. I never saw a lot of stars before. Perhaps there are more than 1000 stars in the sky that night. After I saw it, Suddenly I thought why parapet can have this beautiful views, why not Medan? Actually, Medan views are not lose from other city, However, today people only think on their own self, they only give a few attention to this Medan. All they think are glamour capital building, house, and metropolitan city. They cut down all the trees in order to build the building. Consequently, forest and trees decreased slightly, and then GREEN medan will change to RED medan soon because of the hot weather of Medan that is caused by global warming. I think not only me but most people in Medan prefer green Medan than Red Medan, so let’s take care our lovely city together. Medan need our help !

Medan has changed a lot since 2000. When I was in Primary, Medan was just a simple city where didn't have tall buildings, like plazas and apartments. But now, you can find them easily in every side of Medan. anyway, I think it's not a good idea to make Medan to be a metropolitan city without parks. If the Mayor of Medan don't realize it soon i think Medan would be like such Jakarta, where rains come, where you can see flooded..
And now, you have had see flood when rains came in Medan. We are just waiting for the time if it is unchanged. If i could change Medan, If i have a power to do it, i would make laws where you just can throw things in its place and i would make an environment where you can see trees or grass. it's cool, isn't it?

How green is Medan?

Far from the traffic in the city, Medan has a good look of view.. This picture's proved it..Have you ever expected how real is this picture? This picture's just a small pieces of good view in Medan. This picture's taken on December 06..But perhaps, we will never enjoy this kind of view again in 20 or 50 years later..This can be caused by pollution, human moral for not burn trees anymore,global warming, goverment's responsibility..
Foreign people only know Bali, but most of them don't know that Bali is in Indonesia. They thought Indonesia is a small country while Bali is a modern city and has brilliant view, it's a good place for sunbathing...But how about another city in Indonesia? Medan has brilliant view too!!!
So, I hope from all of you,specially Medan's citizens can keep our hometown in peace,green and as a good city!

According to me, in the past Medan such a nice, beautiful and peaceful city, but it changed when Medan became Metropolitan city, although it became fun, crowd and many light everywhere. The city became hotter every year and the worst disease come more and more, how could this happened? I thought it was bact to ourselves,'because human beings were responsible for what has happened.

Car exhausts, airplane emmision, deforestation, industrial pollution,etc, made the most lovely and beautiful Medan like living in hell, What should we do? If you said that we must reduced what we have done to make pollution, we were the person who made it, so we were the person should responsible.
